How to order bathtub refinishing services
Let's suppose that you have identified your project as a standard 1 apron bathtub that needs to be stripped and you're ready to start the order
Go to the SHOP area of the website and select "Tub and Tile Refinishing".
In this section you will find refinishing services for standard residential bathroom wall tile, bathtubs, and showers.
Select "Standard Bathtub Refinishing" ...
step 2
Select Add-on Options

Some refinishing projects have extra costs that are added-on to the standard price. Stripping is a big cost in material, time, and labor - it adds another day to the project. Repairs to the tub, non-slip and non-aggregate texture, etc. are add-ons.
step 3
Select Location Options

step 4
Add to the CART
If you have 2 bathtubs and they are in separate rooms on the property then each bathtub must be added to the CART separately. The upstairs bathtub may be painted brilliant white with texture while the downstairs one will be standard white with no texture. The order form creates the workorder for the technician.
Each service must be added to the CART separately.
step 5
Select CHECKOUT Options

On the CHECKOUT form there are questions relating to legal billing address (who is paying?) and the jobsite (where is the project?). You will be asked to provide the occupant's email for scheduling (you will be cc'd on all communications. Is it unoccupied?...how do the workers access the property...with a lockbox? Here is where you provide that info.
step 6
Proceed to PAYMENT

To schedule material and labor, all work orders require a deposit... which in turn creates a service contract... which was created by the questions you just answered and regulated by the terms and conditions of the site.
We don't collect or store your payment info. We use PayPal as our secure payment processor. You do not need to have an account with them, just use your credit card as usual.
That's it - You've placed your order - Thank you.
Scheduling will contact you
...unless you want to order something else...
Each service has to be added to the cart separately
Each service, e.g., chemically stripping an existing finish, is specific to an exact location on your property. No one wants the wrong tub to be stripped or to bring tools into the wrong area. The workorder you build will be telling the technicians where on the property they are to be working, e.g., upstairs or downstairs, whether they will enter the bathroom through a bedroom or the hall, and where water and electricity is obtained.
Shouldn't those services be included?
Every service adds more time, labor, and material, e.g., stripping an existing finish adds an additional day. If we charge a large price to cover everything you would be paying for services you may not need, like stripping or repairs. Think of it like ordering a Supreme Pizza for $40 and then picking off all but two toppings when you get it...why not order the pizza exactly the way you like it and only pay $20?
How much time could those services take?
Strip Old Finish
ONE FULL DAY - minimum
Previous coatings need to be removed for new coatings to adhere. It typically takes one full day to strip a standard built in bathtub. Tile is harder to strip, and composite tubs cannot be stripped at all.
Repairs
2 HOURS to 2 DAYS
The unit's structure must be solid and able to accept a finished coating. Repairs done in conjunction with refinishing may be eligible for a 5% discount off the retail price of the repair.
Tub Refinishing
2 DAYS - minimum
Standard residential bathtubs take less time than garden tubs. Walls are not included with bathtubs. If your unit has walls you have a "tub/shower combo". Tub/shower combos typically take 3-4 days to refinish.
Tile Refinishing
2-3 DAYS - minimum
Refinishing tile is different from refinishing bathtubs. A few critical factors effect the time and cost of the project. Oddly enough, the more artistic choices are more affordable. This is one service which we recommend that you order an in-home inspection
