The success of a coating depends on the condition of the surface being painted. If your bath has been previously painted, the old coating will need to be stripped off to before a new coating can be applied, or the new coating will fail.

Fiberglass and acrylic units cannot be stripped.

If stripping off the old coating reveals previous repairs to the surface (e.g., chips, cracks, holes) that now have to be redone, those repairs are additional work that requires an additional charge. The rate that will be charged will be 40% off the online price - excluding drain/overflow repairs which will receive a 25% discount.
